Hi Hey Hello Card

Hi there, friends! Or should I say, Hi Hey Hello! Today I’m sharing a simple, but fun card using lots of bright patterns and some simple alphabet stamps from Sweet Stamp Shop.

I simply stamped the alphabet outlines in black and filled them in with Copic markers. The die cuts and enamel dots are from various Studio Calico card kits. I’ve disassembled all of my kits and use the pieces whenever I need embellishments. I just loveĀ having a stash of easy-to-use elements at my reach.

Fashion-Inspired Striped Floral Card

Hey friends! Hope your week is going swimmingly well! Are you enjoying some nice spring weather? We’re finally getting some mild (and even downright beautiful!) temps here on the East Coast and I’m loving it.

I just wanted to share a card and video tutorial I created for Paper Smooches! It was featured on the Virtual Smooches blog Monday, but in case you missed it, here it is:

So that’s it for today’s card and video! I make one video per week (hoping to up that to 2 this summer!), so if you want to see them as soon as they go live, you Subscribe to my channel over at YouTube. It’s free and if you have a Gmail account, you already have a YouTube account! Easy peasy.

Gold Floral Wedding Card & Video

Hi friends! Happy Friday! Hope your week went well and you’re in store for a fun, relaxing weekend! I’m actually sick with a nasty head cold, so I’m not enjoying that so much. Just trying to rest up and get better as soon as possible.

On the bright side, I’ve got a new card and video to share with you today that went up on the Virtual Smooches blog on Sunday. I’m thinking ahead to wedding season and trying to get some cards ready in my stash. I wanted to go for a layered, collage-style card, but with an elegant twist. I heat embossed on vellum and then added washi tape and die cuts to finish it off. Watch the video below or over at my YouTube channel to see how it all came together:

I love the way this card turned out and the gold embossing on vellum is definitely a technique I’ll be coming back to. I think this card could also work for an anniversary occasion as well – why not? It’s free and you’ll get all my latest videos right in one place. šŸ™‚

Patterned Pastel Spring Card

Happy Monday, friends! I hope this is the start of a great week for you! Today I’m sharing a card thatĀ I created for the Virtual Smooches blog yesterday. It’s a spring-themed card that I think is perfect for this time of year.

I used lots of patterned paper from Crate Paper as well as the Paper Smooches Spring Groves stamp set, Just for You Icons dies and Butterflies 2 dies. Check out my video below to see step-by-step how the card came together!

So that’s today’s card for you! I hope you liked it and definitely leave me a comment below if there’s a technique or type of card you’d like to see next! I’m always up for suggestions!
