The name of this set is “Darling Dolls” and you can find it at the Wilson Designs Stamps site. And here’s my final project with this set – a fun little gift bag:

I used the scalloped circle, small flower and folk art flowers to make a background pattern. Then stamped one of the sentiments on some yellow gingham paper.

Be sure to check out what the other Design Team gals are up to and don’t forget to leave comments for your chance to win the “Darling Dolls” set!

Wilson Designs June Release Day 3

Hey there! Welcome to Day 3 of the Wilson Designs June Release! I’m excited to share this next card with you as it’s one of my favorites that I created with this set. I’ve become quite addicted to incorporating gradients in my projects lately – from ink colors to cardstock colors and anything else you can think of. So I wanted to create a little matryoshka trio using a pink gradient effect:

And there you have it! Be sure to check out my fellow Design Team members and see what awesome creations they’ve come up with:

Wilson Designs June Release Day 2

Hey there! Hope you’re having a great week so far – we’re halfway to Friday already! Today’s Day 2 of the Wilson Designs June release, so let’s get started. Here’s my latest card project using the June set:

IMG_2875

I did a little paper piecing with one of the matryoshka dolls and then stamped the sentiment and flowers in a subtle brown ink to give it that watermark look (I’m loving this technique lately).

Be sure to make your way over to the other girls on the Design Team and see what they’ve created with this set! And don’t forget to leave comments on everyone’s posts to enter for a chance to win this set.

Wilson Designs June Release Day 1

Hey there! Today I get to share my first project for the Wilson Designs June release – a tag I made using one of the stamps in the set. I made this one pretty bright and used lots of primary colors for a folksy look:

IMG_2870

I used colored pencils to fill in the top of the doll (this was before my major Copic marker purchase last weekend!) and then paper pieced the bottom. I used a Papertrey Ink tag die cut and some October Afternoon patterned paper for the base.

So that’s it for my first project! Hope you like it and be sure to visit the rest of the Design Team to check out what they created:

Wilson Designs May Release Day 3

Hey there! It's Day 3 of the Wilson Designs release and I've got a gift bag to share! I made this so it was more of a gender neutral color palette using some Crate Paper and October Afternoon patterns.

I thought this would be a fun birthday gift bag or Father's Day gift bag for a movie lover – you could stick a gift card, popcorn an candy inside!

Check out what the rest of the team did:

Wilson Designs May Release Day 2

Back again for Day 2 of Wilson Designs May Release Week! For this project, I used the same main stamp as the first card, but wanted to go for a very clean and graphic look. Here's my attempt:

I used some white embossing powder to make the car stand out and black dye ink for the sentiment – love that font on the word "classic."

Check out what the rest of the team did for their Day 2 projects:

Wilson Designs May Release Day 1

Welcome to Day 1 of the Wilson Designs May Release! This set was really fun to work with and has uses for several different occasions (you'll see as the week progresses). For this first project, I chose to make a non-traditional wedding card:

IMG_2306

I used Copics to color in the car (I only have a few so I can't get too fancy with shading…yet) and then adhered it with foam tape. I can't stress enough how well these stamps actually stamp. They're photopolymer, not acrylic so the lines are always crisp and they hold any type of ink (even tricky dye inks that tend to pool easily).

Be sure to check out the rest of the Design Team's blogs and their projects! And remember that leaving a comment on our blogs enters you in a drawing to win this set at the end of the week.

Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you tomorrow for another Wilson Designs release project!

Wilson Designs April Release Day 4

Hey there! So this is it! We've made it to Friday and to the full reveal of the April set from Wilson Designs. The name of this set is Glam Squad. And here's the full selection of images:

Girly stamp setbestpreview

And here's what I made for my final project:

IMG_2070

IMG_2146

For this card, I used the small row of circles and created a subtle, textured background (see pretty much every other card I've made for a reference on how much I love this technique). Then I paper pieced the lipstick image on some fun patterns for a girly look. I topped off the lipsticks with some Ranger Stickles glitter glue (I hoard this stuff like it's made with real gold), to give it a bit of sparkle and dimension.

So that's it for my release projects! Now on to the other members of the Wilson Designs DT:

Wilson Designs April Release Day 3

I can't believe the week is soon coming to a close, but here it is Thursday already! I had a fantastic time out with friends last night dining at the Cheesecake Factory, but somehow managed to not get a piece of cheesecake. And now the Lemon Raspberry is going to be haunting me until I go back. I've been on such a sweet kick lately. I blame running. Apparently my body wants to rebel against all the exercise it's been getting.

So on to crafty business, I've got a little tag to share today for Day 3 of the Wilson Designs Release. This one uses a masked sentiment and the bow stamp from this set:

IMG_2076

IMG_2081

I also created a faded background of bows for the base of the tag to give it a subtle texture and dimension (I told you that I love a stamped background, right?). Then I added pearls to the center of each bow, folded up the edges and added a tiny bit of Copic shading to the insides of each bow for depth.

Only one more day until the full Wilson Designs set is released and you'll get the opportunity to buy it! Be sure to check out the Design Team's blogs and leave comments to enter to win the set!
