Modern & Whimsical Wedding Card

Hey friends! Hope you’re enjoying a beautiful summer day like I am here in PA! The last two days have been so gorgeous and I’m soaking up every minute. Today I’m popping in to share a card that’s up on the Silhouette blog!

I had a blast making a wedding card with a very modern couple in mind. Sometimes it’s fun to break free from the traditional color palette and go for a more whimsical, artsy approach. So that’s what I did here!

Embossed Vellum Wedding Card

Hey there, friends! Hope you’re having a happy Wednesday so far! I just wanted to drop in and let you know that a new card tutorial video went up on the Virtual Smooches blog on Monday and I wanted to share it with you!

Since wedding season is upon us, I thought I’d create an elegant wedding card and incorporate some embossing techniques. I heat embossed on vellum and love the result. It reminds me of lace!

Check out the video below or on my YouTube channel to see how it all came together!

Print Candee Silhouette Gift Box

Hi there! I'm really excited to share a new project I made with clip art from Print Candee. Being on their creative team has been more fun than I could've ever thought – there's just so much to choose from and so many different styles. Love it.

So my fellow creative teamers and I are sharing gift themed projects this month. You can always use a good gift idea, that's for sure.  I created a gift box that you could use for a small wedding gift or bridal shower gift OR they could even be little favors for a wedding. They're really not that difficult to make and could be mass produced. I used a silhouette design from A Little Dash of This and That that you can find right here at the Print Candee store.

Supplies

Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper

Patterned paper: BasicGrey

Silhouette: A Little Dash of This and That from Print Candee

Pearls: Zva

Stamp: American Crafts

The silhouette I used on this gift box is actually an SVG file that I just color-changed and scaled to the size I wanted. I cropped it and printed on cardstock, then popped it up with foam tape. A little stamp and some pearls and you're set!

Be sure to go check out the blogs of the other Creative Team members. You'll find them all on the left hand side of my blog. Thanks so much for stopping by and be sure to stop by Print Candee's website as well – they always have new goodies in store.
