Two Many Cards featuring Newton’s Nook Cup of Cocoa

Hey there! Today I’ve got not one, but TWO projects to share with you as part of the Two Many Cards video series that Emily Leiphart and I have created! I brought back my patterned paper obsession and some old-school fussy cutting to make a card and tag featuring Newton’s Nook stamps and dies.

We used the Cup of Cocoa stamp set as well as the coordinating die set and the Fancy Edges Tag Die. I love the decorative mugs in this stamp set! You could color them with markers, colored pencils, or stamp them on patterned paper like I did. I went very layered with my projects, but you could easily use these stamps to make a beautiful clean and simple card! Just replace all the patterned paper with a white card base and colored images!

Watch how both of these projects came together step-by-step in my video below or watch over on my YouTube channel.

I love how you used paper piecing to color the images. I wouldn’t think to do paper piecing especially on such small images. IBoth the card and tag are great. Thanks for sharing and inspiring me. I might have try this technique as I also have lots patterned paper to use.
