Hello Birdie Card

Hey there! Well, it’s official! I’m finished with my first year of grad school (but I still have a summer class to take if we’re getting technical). I’m thrilled at what I’ve learned this past year and it’s made me appreciate the fun and creativity of making cards even more. I’m studying graphic design and love every minute of it.

So today, I thought I’d share a fun card I made using some of the Crate Paper Wonder collection (absolutely love this line):

I really enjoyed layering the patterned papers underneath the acetate and chipboard stickers. The colors in this collection just mix so well. I added some enamel dots to top it all off! Hope you enjoyed this one and be sure to check out the product links below for the items I used on this project!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Fantastic card. Love how your different layers/elements flow easily with each other. Great use of embellishments and patterns. Thanks for the inspiration. Cheers!

Love, love, love your style. I watched a few of your videos last night, was really lovely to see you keep in the parts where you’re designing the layout and deciding what elements go where; makes me think I could do it. It can be quite daunting starting out and thinking that everyone else is so good and creative and “perfect” with making cards, so to see you’re thinking was refreshing. I think you need to do more videos though!
