Die Cutting for Paper Crafters

Hey there! Hope your week is off to a great start! I’m finally playing catch-up and posting projects that I’ve had published in recent issues of Paper Crafts magazine. The one I’m showing today is in the “Die Cutting for Paper Crafters” special issue. You can find a copy online here.

Here’s one of the projects I have in this issue:

This card combines 3 of my favorite things: chevron, gradient and a clean sans serif font. I used a Spellbinders border die to create the chevron pattern and simply lined up different Bazzill cardstock colors to create a fun and bright gradient effect. Then, I took my favorite font die from QuicKutz / Lifestyle Crafts and created the sentiment. It’s an easy card with a lot of impact and would be great to make for a card set since it’s easy to reproduce.

Do you have a favorite font die or border die? Leave  a comment and let me know! I’m always up for new suggestions to add to my collection. 🙂
