Hi there! Today was certainly an interesting one to say the least. I didn't go to work due to severe flooding where I live and road closures out the wazoo that prevented me from even thinking about getting to work. Thank God my house is on top of a hill and we didn't suffer any damage, but I know that many others in the surrounding areas did and tragically, some people have died because of the flooding. So, my thoughts and prayers are definitely with those who are going through some horrible times right now. This is just crazy – I've certainly never seen flooding like this in my lifetime.
On a happier, less soggy note, I have a card to share. :)
Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper
Patterned paper, die cut: My Mind's Eye
Font: American Typewriter
Rhinestones: Queen & Co
Buttons: Papertrey Ink
Much like the little chipboard whale I used on my Card Ideas for Paper Crafts blog hop card, I am pretty much in love with this little strawberry icon. It just makes me happy to look at. Do you ever have an embellishment that you just adore and wish you had bought 5 so you could make several different projects with it? I have that experience far too often for my own good. But I am getting better at using instead of hoarding. It's a tough journey, but I'm making it.
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope that you and your loved ones are safe and sound wherever you live.

September 15, 2011 at 9:34 pmHa ha (about the hoarding)…I know what you mean. The strawberry is definitely hoard-worthy–so cute!! I love the colors you used, too! I was thinking about you with the flooding and wondering if it affected your area. We moved here from Mansfield (way up north) and sadly, we heard about quite a few people that had their homes destroyed. What is with the weather in PA lately?!
