Hi there! It's Friday! Is it bad that I can hardly say that without singing (to myself or out loud) a Friday-related song? Yikes. But in my defense, there are a lot of them lately. Anyway, it is Friday and that's definitely something to celebrate. The weather has been beautiful lately and I can't wait to spend some time outside this weekend with some of my favorite people.
Today, I've got a clean and graphic card to share with you. "Clean and graphic" isn't a style I feel that I have a natural ability for, but I'm a huge fan of those who can master it so beautifully. So, I gave it a whirl with this stamped card using all American Crafts stamps (I just love their stamp designs – perfect for card-making).
Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper
Clear stamps: American Crafts
Rhinestones: My Little Yellow Bicycle
I must admit I am pleased with how this card turned out, but I definitely need a better black marker to make those lines a bit crisper. To ink the stamps, I used my trusty sponge applicator and applied the pink color first then the green and tried to blend the two a bit. And I couldn't resist a couple of rhinestones to finish it off.
So that's my clean and graphic attempt – it's definitely a fun challenge and I want to keep trying to get out of my box a bit and experiment with more graphic designs. Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have a fantastic Friday!
