Moxie Fab World – Tuesday Trigger

Hi friends! Happy Friday! I'm really excited to share my first-ever Tuesday Trigger challenge with you! Paper Crafts magazine's Moxie Fab World blog hosts this challenge weekly and I've always to give it a whirl, so finally I did! The Tuesday Trigger is a photograph that serves as your inspiration for a card. All you have to do is make a card inspired by the image, upload it to your blog and post the link on the site. Here's this week's Tuesday Trigger called "Momento Mori":

Momento Mori 6 Graveyard Photo

And here's my interpretation:

SUPPLIES:  Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper  Patterned paper: BasicGrey  Stamps: Papertrey Ink, Hampton Art, We R Memory Keepers  Brads: Creative Charms  Lace: JoAnn's, vintage  Ink: Clearsnap

I had so much fun making a gothic Halloween card (especially since I usually gravitate toward the "fun & cute" genre when it comes to Halloween cards) and getting out of my comfort zone design-wise. I was really inspired by the color palette and the textures in the photograph, so that's what I focused on when designing my card. Are you going to play along? If you do, make sure to enter your links over at the Moxie Fab World site. I'm really looking forward to seeing what everyone creates!

Happy Weekend! Hope it's crafty!

Kalyn

I like your card! Great take on the trigger and if you replaced that one word, this would work for other occasions too with those great leaves.
